LADY SPARTANS GIRLS BASKETBALL TRYOUTS

When:  September 7, 2008 from 3-5 p.m.

Where: St. Francis High School, Wheaton, Illinois

The Lady Spartans girls’ basketball program will be holding tryouts for both 7^th and 8^th grade girls’ teams on Sunday, September 7, 2008, from 3-5 p.m. at St. Francis High School in Wheaton, Illinois.

The Lady Spartans girls’ basketball program is a competitive basketball program designed to help 7^th and 8^th grade girls prepare for high school level of play.  The Lady Spartans program is intended to be a "feeder" and developmental program into the St. Francis High School girls’ basketball program.  Therefore, preference will be given to players who are planning to attend or who are considering attending St. Francis High School.

The Lady Spartans program intends to field two teams  - one 7^th grade team and one 8^th grade team - for the 2008-2009 fall and winter season.   These teams will participate in highly competitive leagues and tournaments throughout the area.
